We spent a few minutes at the top to look around and video all the way around. The city is changing and growing so quickly that today's horizon will soon be outdated.
The middle photos shows the view looking south towards the Presidential Palace with the golden towers of the Central Bank and the long fan of adjoining ministry buildings spreading out in both directions from them. Along the mall, opposing rows of apartments and shops line the open courtyards with their sculpture and fountains.
The bottom photo shows the prominent, and enormous, oil and gas ministry building with its open archway and golden mirrored glass. Can you guess from where the largest part of government revenue comes?
