As you can see, today was all about Aitugan's feet and legs. Her pants are so long, and the playroom so warm, that we decided it was time to finally expose the rest of our little girl.

Apart from brief moments on the changing table, we had not yet seen her legs or feet, and judging by her fascination with her feet, she doesn't see them all that often either.

We had suspicions that she was solidly built, and now confirmation. I guess that's what you get when you put nearly 18 pounds on a 26 inch body. She may not love these photos when she gets older, but we love them now! Take Care.

Oh those cute chubby legs!! That will probably change when she has a chance to get outside and run around! Loved her fascination in the mirror. Aunt Sandy

Hi Kjersten and Steve,
Your blog is wonderful. Thank You for sharing your journey with all of us. There really are no words to express how truly blessed your family is to have found your precious angel. She is a doll and I love that you've been able to capture her beauty, your joy and the essence of Kazahkstan on film. Awesome job!!! Excellent work! I'm assuming your story (blog) will be turned into a bound book some day? If you haven't already considered it.. you should. Not only would it make a wonderful coffee table book for your family but I'm pretty sure it would sell. ;o)
I wish your family lots of Health, Wealth and Happiness. Have a safe trip home. Fly safe.

Those are some pretty amazing thighs that Aitugan has. Her Aunt Sarah may declare it is further evidence she is a part of the family.

It has been absolutely wonderful to follow the progress each day and it has become a highlight for our whole family to start each morning with an update on Baby "'Tugan."

Talk to you later,
J
P.S. You are so blessed and we are so happy for you!

Hi Kjersten & Steve,

Greetings again from Chicago! Jamie and I have been out of the blogging world for a bit trying to finish up our dossier. I just had the chance to check in on your blog to see how things were going.

We are so glad that your bonding period is going so well! She is so beautiful and looks like a joy to be around - that smile is contagious!

We just wanted to send our best wishes for the rest of your journey in Kaz, and say good luck in court!

We are looking forward to hearing about the rest of your journey, and meeting the whole family at Kazapalooza!

Safe travels home!
