Here is the child we have begun to adopt. Her name is Aitugan and in Kazak it means 'born under the new moon'.

She turns 7 months on Monday and is 16 lbs and 26 inches tall. As you can see she loves to smile and she rolls front to back and back to front on her own. She can get into a crawl position, but without something behind her feet to push off of, tends to flop back onto her chest.

She has the cutest little face of determination and I think clearly will have an independent nature. We may be in trouble. I think they call it Karma.

Sofia was interested in the cute face on the screen. Another beauty with gorgeous lashes! I have been thinking about all the ways that life changes when a little one enters into your world. Now you have begun the exciting journey of discovery, I know that you will be open to all the possibilities, the joy, the challenges, and.....??????? YAHOOOOO!!!!!!!! Maybe that captures how I feel for you, nose rubs are Sofia's new thing, so we send nose rubs to you all from us. Liz, Andy and Sofia.
