Aitugan comes home tomorrow.
We found out after our visit this afternoon that while we had expected the 15 day wait after court to begin the day after court, our judge is considering our court date day 1, and thus, Aitugan comes home with us in just over 12 hours.
In fact, by the time most of you wake up tomorrow morning, we will be here at our apartment with our daughter Aitugan. It is an amazing feeling. This process is really coming to a close - or a beginning I suppose depending on how you see it.

What exciting news! Welcome to the family, Aitugan. We are so thankful for the chance to follow this journey. We feel we already know you and can hardly wait for the first hug. It would have been extremely hard to wait until July to see you! The dream really is coming true.
What wonderful news! Enjoy your first moments of freedom together and cherish it. If you are in the same apartment we were in, you can make a nice bed for her from the pull-out couch in the spare bedroom. We piled up pillows and blocked our daugher in between the arms. It was soft and safe and she slept fine.
Make sure you show us that beautiful girl as she leaves the baby home forever.

Oh my gosh, this is great news. I was just reminding everyone today that you only had 2 more days till you brought Aitugan home..and now you tell us it's pretty much a done deal....THIS IS SOOOO GREAT, we are all so excited for you.

Congratulations!!!! We just found your blog on someone else's...and we are so happy for you! By now, your little one is home with you and you are a family! We are writing to you from Semey, Kazakhstan where we just officially adopted our daughter, Aila. She came home to our apt. with us 5 days ago, and we leave tomorrow for Almaty and all of the final stuff. Such a beautiful name for your daughter and the photos are magnificent! That's fantastic news! I'm so very happy for you all and I can't wait to see photos from the apartment! How wonderful it will be for you to put her to bed every night and awake to her cherubic face each morning. Not to mention all the times in between!
WooHoo!! We are so excited for you guys. Aitugon is home! Just like Berik and Anna-Lina, I'm sure Aitugon is going to blossom quickly now that she's with you 24/7. We made it home safely. It's good to be back in the USA, but of course we can't wait to return to Kaz. Congrats!
