So this being Sunday, the day we can't visit the Baby House here in Astana, I thought I would give everyone a little tour of our surroundings.

For whatever reason, I am having trouble loading more than 1 image at a time right now, and so I will proceed like this until I can't take it any longer.

Let's begin with the area around our apartment building though we'll do a tour of the apartment another day. This first shot is of the playground and parking outside our building. Ours is not the one pictured but is one of this cluster. Many families from different agencies all seem to use this complex for hosting families during adoption.

It is central to many things, the Ramstore and river walk among them. The Ramstore is a grocery store that has many familiar items available and is next to this apartment complex.
